Privacy Policy

Tapanic · Erek Studio

Short version: Tapanic has no accounts and we log nothing about you — your scores and settings stay on your device. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google processes device data to serve them. The one-time Remove Ads + Pro purchase removes the ads, and for buyers the ad SDK is never started.

What we collect

We — Erek Studio — do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There is no sign-up, no profile, and no account. The one exception is the advertising in the free version, where Google processes data we never see or store; see “Advertising” below.

Data stored on your device

Tapanic saves a few things locally so the game remembers where you left off:

This information never leaves your device and is removed if you delete the game.

Advertising

Free play is ad-supported in two shapes: a short ad between runs, under a frequency cap, and an optional ad you can choose to watch to keep a single run going after you lose. You are never forced to watch the second one, and declining costs you nothing you already had.

Ads are served by Google AdMob. To do that, Google processes your advertising identifier, an approximate region derived from your IP address, device and app information, and your interaction with the ad, under Google's privacy policy. We only ever see aggregate revenue reporting — never anything about an individual person.

In the EEA, Switzerland, and the UK, a Google consent form (UMP) asks for your choice before the first ad loads. You can change it at any time from Privacy options in the game's pause screen. On iOS the system additionally asks whether the game may track you across apps and websites; if you decline, you still see ads, but they are not personalized.

Remove Ads + Pro removes advertising completely. For buyers the ad SDK is never initialized, and neither the consent form nor the iOS tracking prompt appears.

Network & third parties

The game itself is entirely offline — every block, sound and score is generated on your device, and playing needs no connection. Network requests come only from the advertising in the free version, which is why the Android build holds the internet and advertising-ID permissions. Tapanic bundles no analytics and no crash-reporting SDKs.

Purchases

The optional Remove Ads + Pro purchase is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Tapanic never sees your name, email, or payment details — those are handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. Restoring a previous purchase on a new device asks the store, not us; we hold no record of who bought what.

Children

Tapanic is not directed at children and collects no data of its own. The free version does show ads, however, and an ad can lead to an external site. Remove Ads + Pro removes advertising for anyone who would rather play without it.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
