Privacy & Support

Onseol counts the days that matter — no account, no sign-up, no ads. Your dates live on your phone, and Onseol keeps no copy.

The short version

We do not collect any personal data. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics SDK, and nothing you create — your events, dates, titles or photos — is ever uploaded. Onseol has contained no ad SDK since version 1.4.

What we store, and where

• Your D-Days (titles, dates, emoji, colours) and your settings are saved only on your device. Onseol never uploads them — not to us, not to any server. (Your phone’s own backup — iCloud or Google — may include app data, under your account and that service’s policy.)
• On iOS, your events are shared with the Home-Screen / Lock-Screen widgets through a private on-device App Group container. This data never leaves your device.
• Photos you add to an event are picked with the system photo picker, which gives Onseol only the photo you choose — not your library. Onseol re-saves a copy on your device without its location or camera metadata, for the event card and the widgets. It is never uploaded.
• Backups exist only when you make one: Onseol writes a file with your events and their photos and hands it to the system share sheet. Where it goes next — Files, iCloud Drive, Google Drive, a message to yourself — is your choice and that service’s policy. Onseol sends nothing anywhere itself.
• Sharing a D-Day creates an image on your device, and, if you leave the invite link on, a link that carries only that event’s title, date and how it counts — inside the link itself, after the “#”, a part browsers never send to a server. Our page at that link reads it in the recipient’s browser and stores nothing.

Data we collect

None. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your events, photos or any personal data, and we operate no servers that receive it. There is no analytics, crash-reporting or advertising SDK in the app.

Advertising

None. Onseol 1.4 and later show no ads of any kind and contain no ad SDK, so there is no advertising identifier, no consent form and no tracking prompt. (Versions before 1.4 showed a Google AdMob ad in the free version; updating removes it.)

Notifications

Reminders (“D-7”, “D-DAY”, anniversary milestones) are local notifications scheduled on your device by the operating system. They are not sent from any server, and no data leaves your device. You can turn them off in your device Settings at any time.

Purchases

The optional one-time “Pro” upgrade is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see or store your payment details; those transactions are handled under Apple’s and Google’s own privacy policies. The app checks your purchase with the store on your device and stores only a local flag indicating whether the upgrade is active. On the App Store, Pro supports Family Sharing, which Apple manages.

Children

Onseol is not directed at children, collects no data from anyone, and shows no ads.

Your control

Because all data lives on your device, you are in full control: deleting an event removes it, Settings → Backup lets you take everything with you, and deleting the app removes all of its data from your device.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, note it in the app or store listing.
