Privacy Policy — Roast & Rich

Roast & Rich (“the app”, “we”) is a single-player coffee-roasting game. We designed it to be privacy-respecting: your gameplay runs and is saved on your device. This policy explains the limited data involved and your choices.

1. What we do NOT do

We do not run our own analytics, we do not have user accounts, and we do not collect your name, email, contacts, photos, or precise GPS location. Your game progress (shifts, records, purchases owned, settings) is stored locally on your device and is not sent to us.

2. Data handled by third parties

Advertising — Google AdMob. The free version of the app may show ads via Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may process device and usage information such as a device/advertising identifier, coarse (non-precise) location, IP address, and ad-interaction events. This is controlled by Google, not by us. See Google’s policy: policies.google.com/privacy and how Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Purchases — Apple & Google. In-app purchases (ad-free upgrades, cosmetics, tips) are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment details are handled by them, not by us; we only receive confirmation of what was purchased so we can unlock it on your device.

3. Your consent & choices

• Europe/UK (GDPR): on first launch you are shown a consent choice for personalized ads. If you decline or consent is unavailable, ads are served in a non-personalized mode.
• iOS (App Tracking Transparency): iOS asks your permission before any cross-app tracking. If you decline, ads remain non-personalized.
• Remove ads: buying any “Ad-Free” option (monthly, yearly, or lifetime) turns off all advertising, so no ad-related data is processed.
• You can reset your advertising identifier in your device settings at any time.

4. Children

The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If ads are shown, they are configured for a general audience.

5. Data retention

Because game data lives on your device, uninstalling the app removes it. Data processed by Google/Apple is retained per their respective policies.

6. Your rights

Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR, CCPA) you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data and to withdraw consent. Since we do not hold personal data about you ourselves, most requests concern Google/Apple; you can exercise ad-consent choices in-app (via the consent prompt) and in your device settings, and contact us for help.

7. Changes

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change. Material changes will be reflected here.
