Pofu · Erek Studio

Short version: Pofu has no accounts and no sign-in, and we collect nothing about you — your progress stays on your device. The game shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google processes device data to serve them. There are no purchases in the app.

What we collect

We — Erek Studio — do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There is no sign-up, no profile, no account, and no analytics service in the app. The one exception is the advertising, where Google processes data we never see or store; see “Advertising” below.

What is stored on your device

Pofu saves a few values locally so it can remember where you are:

Which level you have reached, and your best result on the levels you finished.
How many levels you have won since the last ad between levels.
Whether you have muted the sound.

This never leaves your device and is removed when you delete the app.

Advertising

The game is supported by ads: a full-screen ad between levels every so often, and optional videos you can choose to watch while a board is live — for another blast, to take your last touch back, or to clear one hazard — plus one to carry on after your touches run out. None of them is ever required to finish a level, and nothing is shown while you are playing a board.

Ads are served by Google AdMob. To do that, Google processes your advertising identifier, an approximate region derived from your IP address, device and app information, and your interaction with the ad, under Google's privacy policy. We only ever see aggregate revenue reporting — never anything about an individual person.

In the EEA, Switzerland, and the UK, a Google consent form (UMP) asks for your choice before personalised ads are served, and you can change it later from your device's settings for the app.

Children

Pofu is rated 4+ and has no words, no chat, no user content, and no links out of the game other than the ads described above. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, of any age.

Playing offline

Every level is stored in the app. With no network the game is fully playable — the ads simply do not appear, and the optional video offers are not shown at all.

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date below.
